Snowberry

Named for its color, not for the time of year, Common Snowberry (Symphoricarpos albus) can also be found in the Green. This shrub is a native to the Pacific Northwest, but unlike the other berries we have seen so far, this one is not edible. And technically it is not even a berry. These little white fruits are a drupes - a fleshy fruit that surrounds a central pit (like a peach).
